The Papakea is a very special resort on the ocean that is centrally located in West Maui. It is very family friendly and comfortable. You have world-class golf, restaurants and shopping just minutes away.  So much is now OPEN!!   Come and experience the 'aloha' of Maui.

Papakea is truly the spirit of Old Hawaii. With 11 low rise condo buildings scattered across 13 oceanfront acres. It is set well back from the street but is still conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants. Right on the ocean just a short walk to north Kaanapali Beach. The lushly landscaped grounds are immaculately maintained and adorned with red ginger and red palms. At dusk, every evening, the magical twinkling tiki lights are lit and reflect on the Koi ponds throughout the property. Papakea’s location is as good as it gets!

The Papakea has it all: Ocean beaches, green manicured lawns, Koi ponds, putting greens shuffleboard, tennis courts, swimming pool, hot tubs, pool cabanas and six BBQs by each pool.
The location is outstanding! You are within steps of the Kaanapali boardwalk/trail, with breathtaking views, taking you to Black Rock, Whaler’s Village shopping center and beyond. You can walk for miles down the beach just south of us. Lots of fun to BBQ in the evening around the pool. Enjoy the bubbling hot tup (up to 10pm). For the kids, frog hunting with flashlights is a great thing to do when it gets dark.
The sand in front of The Papakea comes and goes depending on the weather and tides. There is a sea wall, and steps leading down to the ocean. Weather and waves permitting, people swim and snorkel in front of The Papakea. Lounge chairs on the grass behind the sea wall provide a delightful area to relax, read, or soak in the ocean view. At sunset, you will find guests lined up by the sea wall, in lounge chairs, awaiting the sunset. Often, a conch shell is blown as the sun touches the ocean.

The Noniluna One is a unique oceanfront penthouse, featuring four sleeping areas: Primary bedroom on the main floor; second bedroom on the main floor; upper-level sleeping loft and sofa bed in the living room. This condo is 1240 sq ft. The largest at Papakea.  All rooms are fully airconditioned.
You will feel right the moment you step inside; a neutral color scheme of Hawaiian inspired furniture and décor await you. Sliding glass doors out to your personal lanai makes it easy for indoor/outdoor living in this open concept unit.
This is a perfect condo for families or multiple friends staying at the Papakea Resort. Imagine waking up to the sounds of the ocean and starting each day with coffee on your spacious lanai. From the lanai, you are literally 45’ from the water.
Upon entering, the first guest room is on your right with two Twin beds. There is a separate bathroom outside the first guest room with a shower tub. Also on the main floor is the Primary (Master), with a tub/shower and a Cal King bed.
Upstairs in the open loft, you will find three beds: a Queen, a Double and a Twin. On this floor is a locking entry door and a bathroom. Guests often deposit kids up here.
The living room can accommodate your additional guests with a Queen size sofa bed. All in all, the unit sleeps 11 plus a Pack N Play. You will find the Noniluna One, kid friendly: for your use, a stroller, highchair and Pack N Play with sheets.
There are ceiling fans throughout the condo and a split system AC in every room.
You will find a fully stocked kitchen with appliances such as: Blender; Insta Pot; Rice Cooker, Coffee Maker, Air Fryer and a beverage frig. There are plenty of plastic dishware to use at the pool and two coolers for your use. We encourage guests to leave nonperishable spices and food items. You most likely will find a good supply of spices. Beach towels are provided, as well as a beach umbrella, golf putters and beach chairs. Depending on what guests have left, you may find body boards, beach toys and snorkel gear.

This condo is 1200 sq ft. One of the largest at Papakea. All rooms are airconditioned except for one bedroom.  This bedroom has a portable cooler.  You will feel right the moment you step inside; a neutral color scheme of Hawaiian inspired furniture and décor await you. Sliding glass doors out to your personal lanai makes it easy for indoor/outdoor living in this open concept unit. This is a perfect condo for families or multiple friends staying at the Papakea Resort. Imagine waking up to the sounds of the ocean and starting each day with coffee on your spacious lanai. From the lanai, you are literally 45’ from the water. Upon entering, the first guest room is on your right with a Queen bed. There is a separate bathroom outside the first guest room with a shower. Also on the main floor is the Front Bedroom with a Queen bed and sweeping views of the water. . Upstairs in the open loft, you will find the Master (Primary) bedroom with a Queen bed and en suite bathroom..The living room can accommodate your additional guests with a Queen size sofa bed. All in all, the unit sleeps 8 plus a Pack N Play. You will find the Noniluna One, kid friendly: for your use, a stroller, highchair and Pack N Play with sheets.

There are ceiling fans throughout the condo and a split system AC in every room except the back bedroom. That bedroom has a small water dependent cooler. You will find a fully stocked kitchen with appliances such as: Blender; Insta Pot; Coffee Maker, Air Fryer and a beverage frig. There are plenty of plastic dishware to use at the pool and two coolers for your use. We encourage guests to leave nonperishable spices and food items. You most likely will find a good supply of spices. Beach towels are provided, as well as a beach umbrella, golf putters and beach chairs. Depending on what guests have left, you may find body boards, beach toys and snorkel gear. The Papakea charges a facilities fee of $25/day for the 1st 10 days of your stay in a calendar month per condo.  The fee gives you one parking pass, free High-Speed Internet and use of all of the resort amenities. Any additonal  vehicles are $5/day.  There is no limit on the number of vehicles.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
